Description

MANTA RAY being a quite unique charter boat in the UK, being a 10.6 metre Swiftcat built to comply with the MCA standards and is fully certified to operate up to 60 miles from a safe haven .

The hull was developed in South Africa and is assisted with Hydra- Foils. This combined with being powered by twin F300B Yamaha outboard engines enables MANTA RAY to achieve speeds in excess of 45 knots, and cruise at 35 kts, which means that our journey time to Alderney in the Channel Isles in under 2 hrs and the mid- channel wrecks in 45 mins, which gives the anglers far more time fishing.

JOIN US

Why not join us on a trip to the famous Needles in the autumn and winter to experience the great cod and conger fishing that is to be had, alternatively from the early spring, the mid- Channel wrecks offer great opportunities for cod, pollack, ling and conger fishing

Another option is to drift the inshore banks for turbot, brill, bass and plaice, or for hard running tope or rays, found around the Needles and surrounding banks.

If bream or bass is your quarry, then a trip to the Christchurch Ledge and the surrounding reefs in the Spring / Summer would be your choice, using light spinning rods to enjoy the fantastic sport that these species give

From Late April you can join our various multiple day charters to the Channel Isles in search of the turbot, brill and tope fishing that is to be had around the islands, with accommodation in either Alderney or Guernsey. We also run 2 day trips to Cherbourg fishing the French Wrecks and banks off the French coast.

For the shark fishing enthusiast we provide a totally inclusive package, which includes rod reels tackle and bait and tuition if required
